HENRYKA KARASINSKI It is with great sadness that the family announce the passing of their beloved mother and grandmother, Henryka Karasinski, age 78 years, on October 8, 2001. Henryka is survived by her loving family, sons, Adam, and Chris; daughter Jolanta (Lola) five grandchildren, Ryan, Sherri, Phillip, Evelyn and Crystal; brother Edmund and many other relatives and friends. She was employed at Health Science Centre for many years. She was a very outgoing, strong person who enjoyed the company of numerous friends and always enjoyed traditional family gatherings. She was very supportive of the Polish Community and was the pillar of life for everyone around her and will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, October 11 at 2:00 p.m. with viewing from 1:30-2:00 p.m. at Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church, 341 Selkirk Ave. with an Oblate Father officiating. Interment will follow in Holy Ghost Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Henrykas memory to Heart & Stroke Foundation, 301-352 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB, R3B 2H8.
