LEWIS DIAMOND It is with deep sadness that the family of Lewis Diamond announce his sudden passing on Saturday, October 6, 2001 at his residence in Southfield, Michigan. Lewis was an engineer with General Motors of Michigan for more than 20 years and had retired some 24 years ago. He was predeceased by his wife Sara in the Spring of this year. He leaves to mourn his brothers, William and Albert (Dora) of Winnipeg and his in-laws, Jack and Simmie Etkin, Bessie Chisvin and many nieces and nephews. In his retirement, Lewis was a Volunteer Service Representative for one of the Greater Detroit Hospitals and enjoyed his work there with the doctors and patients. He was an avid stamp collector with a large and varied collection. A graveside funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 11 at 11:00 a.m., at the Hebrew Sick Cemetery. A Private Shiva will be observed.
