SUSAN DUECK Peacefully on October 9, 2001 at Donwood Manor, Susan Dueck of Winnipeg, formerly of Oak Bluff died at the age of 87 years. She is survived by one son William and wife Linda of Oak Bluff; five grandchildren, Connie and husband Brian Cooper, Pamela, Kelly and Cherie; one great granddaughter Nicole Cooper; three sisters, Nellie Krahn, Joanne Coulter, and Hilda Epp; one brother Dave Martens; and many other relatives and friends. Susan was predeceased by her husband Peter in 1995; and great-grandchild Lauren Cooper; three brothers and two sisters. Mom taught Sunday School for many years and also led the Girls Club in North Kildonan. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 12 at 10:30 a.m. at Portage Avenue Mennonite Brethren Church, 1420 Portage Ave., with Reverend Claude Pratt officiating. Interment to follow in Springstein Cemetery. Viewing Thursday, October 11 from 7:00-8:00 p.m. at Klassen Funeral Chapel, 1897 Henderson Hwy., and at the church prior to the service. If friends desire, donations may be made to Donwood Personal Care Home or to Gideons International. The family expresses a special thank you to the staff of 2 North of Donwood for the love and kindness shown to mother. Arrangements entrusted to Klassen Funeral Chapel, 338-0331.
