Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEDWINA GOUGEON (nee MERCER) Peacefully in hospital, surrounded by family on October 8, 2001, Winnie Gougeon passed away at the age of 88 years. Winnie will be greatly missed by her three daughters, Linda Gaden (Denis), granddaughter Andrea and grandson Trevor, great-grandson Christopher and great-granddaughter Sierra; Sharon Ikonen (John), granddaughter Shauna and grandson Carson; Jackie Ammeter (Bruno), grandsons, Joe Creighton (Laurie), great-grandsons, Cameron and Evan; Dean Creighton (Carrie), great-granddaughter Ashley and great-grandson Aaron; Steve Creighton and granddaughter Michelle Ammeter. Winnie was predeceased by her parents, her husband Joey, and her only sister Bessie. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the doctors and nurses at St. Boniface Hospital. A celebration of Winnies life will be held on Thursday, October 11 at 1:00 p.m. at Neil Bardal Inc., 984 Portage Ave., entrance on Aubrey Street, with Pastor Ron Vert officiating. Interment to follow at Fort Garry Memorial Gardens for immediate family only.
