Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOSEPH CLEMENT MARKS With great sadness we announce the passing of our husband, father, grandfather on Monday, October 8, 2001. He is survived by his wife Lucille; and seven children, Marilyn (Ed), Richard, Gerri (Len), Don (Judy), Dennis, Gordon, and Jason, who loved him very much and of whom he was very proud. He will be dearly missed by his grandchildren, Sheri, Darryl, Trevor (Jen), Kelly (Philip), Kyle, Corrie, Chad, Jennifer, Dustin; as well as his "little ones", great-grandchildren, Logan and Deveraux Polvorosa and Tyler and Samantha Wood. He is also survived by his two brothers, Tony and John. He was predeceased by his parents, John and Anna; brother Adam; sisters, Kay, Anne, and infant Mary. Joe was born in Winnipeg on November 23, 1924. After his family, Dads greatest love was farming to which he devoted his life. His pallbearers will be all of his grand-children. Prayers will be held in Gimli at Gilbert Funeral Chapel on Thursday, October 11 at 7:30 p.m. Celebration mass will take place on Friday, October 12 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Micheals Church in Gimli, MB, with Msgr. Louis McCloskey officiating. Interment will follow at St. Peter and Paul Cemetery in Berlo, MB. Friends so wishing may contribute in his memory to the Manitoba Heart Fund or the Berlo Cemetery Fund. Gilbart Funeral Home, Gimli, in care of arrangements.
