DELLA MAYOR Peacefully, at the Boundary Trails Health Centre in Morden, with her family at her side, Della Mayor, aged 88, went to her eternal rest. Della was a long time resident of Donwood South in Winnipeg. She is survived by her son Fred and daughter-in-law Myrna; grandchildren, Kristen, Kerri, Barbara and Darren and their families; step-son George (Terry) of Ottawa; grandchildren, Pamela, Leonard and Tim and their families; step-daughter-in-law Ruth; grandchildren, Linda, Tom, Connie, Leslie and Cameron and their families. She will be missed by many nieces and nephews, especially Arlene Richardson, Elaine Wolfe and family, Bruce Cederwall and Kyla, as well as her very best friend Ida King. Della was predeceased by her husband Joe; sisters, Irene Sharp and Vera Richardson; brothers-in-law, George Sharp, Jack Richardson; brother Ralph Gatehouse and sister-in-law Agnes Gatehouse and step-son Joe Mayor. Della was a person of faith, who was a caregiver to many and asked for nothing in return. She faced her sickness with strength and truly believed that her life was in Gods hands. A service celebrating Dellas life will be held at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. on Thursday, October 11, at 12:30 p.m. Viewing will be held one-half hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to the Boundary Trails Health Centre Palliative Care, Box 2000, Stn.
