WILLIAM PETER (BILL) MULVANEY February 8, 1923 - October 8, 2001 Peacefully on Monday October 8, 2001, Bill passed away with his family at his side at Riverview Health Centre. Bill is survived by his wife Rhoda and seven children, Leeanne (Don) Jenkinson, Bill (Martie), Rob, John, Len, Lorry, and Chip (Bernadette) 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother Susan and father William; three sisters, Margaret, Anne, and twin sister Irene; and three brothers, Len, Tom and Jim. Bill served with the Armed Forces in England, Central Mediterranean and Continental Europe from 1939 to 1945. He was a Life member and past President of Monte Cassino Legion, Branch 178 and was a member of Cameron 1st and 5th Medium Association. Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 12, at Bardal Funeral Home, 843 Sherbrook St. Internment will follow at Brookside Cemetery. In accordance with Bills wishes, the pallbearers will be his six sons. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bills memory may be made to Canadian Cancer Fund or Canadian Diabetes Association.
