Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANNIE SCOTT MACKAY November 23, 1919 - October 9, 2001 On Tuesday, October 9, 2001 Annie went home to be with her Lord and Saviour. Annie is survived by her loving husband Jim; brother Jim (Norma) sisters, Jean and Irene (Bob) and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by two sisters, Audrey and Shirley. Annie was born in Glasgow, Scotland and came to Canada as an infant. She lived her life in Winnipeg except for one year in Australia. She was employed by the T. Eaton Company until her marriage to Jim in 1947. Annie was a past Worthy Matron of the Rainbow Chapter of the Eastern Star. She was a volunteer at CancerCare Manitoba for over twenty five years and was for many years a very loyal member of the Prayer Band of Calvary Temple. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 13 at 1:00 p.m. in Thomson Funeral Chapels, 669 Broadway with Pastor Bruce Logan officiating. Interment will take place in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be one half hour prior to the service. Jim would like to extend his heartfelt thanks to all the staff of the Tache Nursing Centre for all of the many years of loving care given to Annie during her time there.
