WILLIAM "BILL" BAILLEY Dad passed away peacefully on October 11, 2001, at the Grace General Hospital. He was born in Winnipeg on November 20, 1927. Bill leaves to mourn his passing his wife Jennie; daughter Natalie (Gil) Richard; sons, Terry (Donna Lynne), Darryl (Cathy) grandchildren, Paul (Joy) and Christie; Samantha and Lauren; and Blane. Bill also leaves to mourn his sister Elsie (Louis) Raina; brother Joe (Jean) Bailley; stepbrother Don (Fran) Beley; and his uncle Peter Haluik; many relatives, nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his mother Theodosia, father Michael, stepmother Pearl, stepsister Elizabeth and her husband Kazmir Tyrchniewicz. Dad worked hard and thrived on working at the Sherbrook Inn with his family and then going out to Ft. Frances, ON, to operate his pride and joy, the White Pine Inn. Dad never gave up in any situation and taught us to preserve, no matter what. To say that Dad was a "character" is a vast understatement. He lived every day to the max and absolutely loved his business because of the people he met and worked with. He was probably the best "story-teller" on the planet and always found the humourous twist in any situation, most often involving himself. Bill genuinely loved people and his sincerity is reflected by the many people who stopped at the Sherbrook or "The Pine" just to see Bill. Our world is a little sadder today but we will chuckle as we remember a Bill Bailley story or incident. Thats what he would have wanted. "Bill Bailley has gone Home." A special thank you to Dr. T.A.M. Aldor and the caring staff at the Grace General Hospital. Sincere thanks to all who visited Bill and sent greetings. Funeral service will take place on Monday, October 15 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St. Innichement to follow in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. If friends so desire, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Grace Hospital Foundation, 300 Booth Dr., Winnipeg, MB, R3J 3M7, in Bills memory. May the road rise up to meet you May the wind be always at your back May the sun shine warm upon your face today And the rains fall soft upon your fields And until we meet again May God hold you in the hollow of His hand We love you Dad!
