SUNIL RAGHUNATH JOSHI Sunil peacefully passed away in his sleep on Thursday, October 11, 2001, aged 57 years at his residence. He will be lovingly remembered by his spouse Surekha, children, Sonali, Robert and Rajesh; mother Shakuntala; brother Shekhar (Rekha) and sister Pushpa (Anand) nieces, Vaishali (Samir), Chinmayee, Sarika and Sabrina. He was predeceased by his father Raghunath Dattatraya Joshi. Sunil was born on April 30, 1944 in Sangli, India, where he grew up and attended Scindia Public School (Gwalior) and IIT Bombay, taking his B. Tech Degree. In 1966, Sunil came to Winnipeg to study for a Masters of Science Degree at the University of Manitoba. Sunil recently completed 30 years service at Bristol Aerospace. He was an avid home handyman and enjoyed golf and badminton immensely. The family wishes to extend special thanks to all his friends in Winnipeg. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 14 at 5:00 p.m. in the Leatherdale Gardiner Funeral Chapel located at 1501 Waverley St. with Dr. Hegdekar officiating.
