ROBERT "BOB" R.E. MILLER At sunrise on October 9, 2001 our beloved Husband, Dad, Papa, and Brother lost his 16 year fight with heart disease. He was born June 30, 1931 to Fred and Betty Miller who predeceased him as well as an infant brother. Bob will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 46 years, Thelma; daughters, Roberta (Randy) PPool, Laura (Brian) Bilger, Melissa (Lyal) Egilson, Michelle (Tim) Zurcher; grandchildren, Randi, Bobby, Ryan, Katie, Jayme, Aimee, Ian, Kaila, Malia, Brielle, Hailey, and Connor; siblings, Dusty, Ruth, Carl, Pat, Tom, Joe, Diane, Karen, their spouses, numerous nieces, nephews and many dear friends. Bob moved his family to Seattle, Washington in 1968 where he worked for the Lockheed Corp. and the Boeing Company. In 1987, Bob and Thelma returned to Winnipeg to resume his career with Air Canada. After retiring in 1995, Bob enjoyed his time travelling to visit his children and grandchildren. He was an avid curler and could be found at the rink participating or watching a game. The family would like to thank Dr. L. Robert Kroeker and the staff at the Health Sciences Centre and Deer Lodge 4 West for the loving care that Bob received. A memorial service will be held at the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg, on Monday, October 15 at 10:00 a.m. A reception will follow in the Chapel Lawn Reception Centre.
