HELEN WISE It is with a great and solemn sense of loss that the family of Helen Wise mourn her death on October 1, 2001 at St. Boniface Hospital, Winnipeg. Helen who was born in 1908 in Wierszenik, Poland, and came to Canada in 1913 at the age of 5, with her parents, Sarah Raizel and Isaac David Davidovitch. She met and married Samuel in 1930 in Toronto where she resided until the last few years of her life when she came to live with her daughter and son-in-law, Elaine and Wilfred Kravetsky. Helen was predeceased by her husband Samuel in 1967 and by her brothers, Jake Jacobs, Max Davis, Jack Davis and Ben Davis and by her sisters, Betty Stockey and Rose Greenglass. Helen is survived by her daughters, Gloria Hayman (Julius) of Longwood, Florida and Elaine Kravetsky (Wilfred) of Winnipeg and by her grandsons, Steve Hayman and Jeffrey Hayman and great-granddaughters, Samara and Kira Hayman. Graveside services were held October 1 at Shaarey Zedek Memorial Park, officiated by Rabbi Yaacov Benamou. Pallbearers were Steve Hayman, Neil Kravetsky, Abie Borzykowski, Daniel Kravetsky, Jeffrey Morris and Charles Morris.
