MARY ANNE SCHIESTEL (nee CHALMERS) Peacefully at Fort Garry Care Centre, October 11, 2001 Mary Anne passed away following a long illness. Predeceased by her husband Frank in 1978, Mary Anne is survived by her beloved son William of Ottawa, her mother Mary Chalmers of Winnipeg, her sisters, Joan Hartley (Harry) Calgary, and Barrie Wilson (Glenn) Winnipeg; brother Bill Chalmers (Merle) Winnipeg; several nieces and nephews, and special aunt Marge Hemsworth (Jerry) of Winnipeg. Mary Anne had a twenty-one year career with the Bank of Montreal in Winnipeg, Calgary, and Montreal and Toronto ending in 1977 after which she became a stay at home mother devoting herself to Williams well being. Family was always very important to Mary Anne and she was a very caring aunt to all of her nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the Fort Garry Care Centre staff for their loving and compassionate care of Mary Anne and her family for the past sixteen months.
