SIGNE ELISE (ALICE) MUIR Peacefully on October 8, 2001 at Tuxedo Villa after a lengthy illness. Mom was predeceased by her husband Eric April 3, 1968; sisters, Florence Gjolstad and Ruth Tummon. She is survived by her daughters, Florence (Tom) of Tehachapi, CA and Marilyn Boschman (Marty) of Winnipeg; four grandchildren, Mari Beth Lanz, Regina, Douglas Brady (Tracy), Winnipeg, Colleen Brady, San Jose, CA and Brock Boschman (Christine), Winnipeg; five great-grandchildren, Kelly Ross, Bryce Loomer, Kristen and Tamara Brady and Brooklyn Boschman; one great-grandson Spencer Ross. She is also survived by four sisters, Bertha Jeffery, Alma Jeffery, Clara Squires and Grace Tyre, all of Winnipeg as well several nieces and nephews. Moms whole life was centered around home and family. She was a natural caregiver, and loved to entertain friends and family in her little home. A good time was usually had by all. She will be especially remembered for her Christmas Eve celebrations. No one was ever left out or went home hungry. In her later years mom was employed with the Manitoba Government (Home Care). A job she enjoyed immensely. She was a past member of the Womens Auxiliary ANAF #60 and The I.W.V.A. A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 15 at 1:00 p.m. at Neil Bardal Inc., 984 Portage Avenue, entrance on Aubrey Street. Heartfelt thanks to Ray, Jean, Violet, Susan, Joshua, Len Fabris, Dr. Montgomery and staff of Riverview Health Centre, Aileen and Rami and staff of Tuxedo Villa. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of choice. Remember me with joy and laughter. Thats how Ill remember you. If you remember me with tears, dont remember me at all.
