ANNE SINCLAIR July 15, 1919 - October 4, 2001 Suddenly on Thursday evening, Mom passed away at her residence in Kinsmen Kourts in Neepawa, MB. She was predeceased by her parents, James and Catherine Mitchell; her husband Jim; her son Kenny who died at birth; her in-laws, Alex and Minnie Sinclair; her brothers-in-law, Charlie Koski and Geordie Pollock; and her son-in-law Maurice Clark. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Barbara (Barry) McLachlan, Edna (Rod) Kleckner, and Madeline Clark; grandchildren, Shelaine (Bill) Strom, Jaydene McLachlan, Michael (Robynn) Clark, and Marty Clark; great-grandchildren, Taylor, Clark and Eric Strom, and Jesse Town; sisters, Jean Pollock and Dorothy (Gordon) Pollock; and brother Ross (Ruth) Mitchell; and their families; as well as stepgrandchildren and their families, Michael (Marcia) Kleckner, Nikita, Haley and Chelsea, and Michelle (Peter) Hayden, Chad, Reanne and Chase. Mom was born and raised in the Rorketon, MB area and came to Neepawa to work where she met and married our dad, Jim. They farmed in the Glendale district where their three daughters were born. Moving to Neepawa in the mid-50s, she worked at Hargreaves Drug Store, Eatons Mail Order office, and retired from East View Lodge after 16 years as Activities Director. Besides her love and pride in her family, she enjoyed playing bridge, 10-pin bowling (in 83-84 she was on the provincial championship team that represented Manitoba at the Export "A" Medium 10-Pin Championships in Toronto and won high triple and high single awards), and was an avid golfer, spending countless hours on her "Harley" on the Neepawa Golf Course. Mom had a keen sense of humour. She loved a good joke, and pulled many a practical one. In the last few years, she appreciated the help of her special health care workers, enjoying their daily visits. She accepted her failing health and limitations with courage, and without losing her sense of humour. She was a unique person and we will miss her dearly. The voice of Nature loudly cries, That something in us never dies. ...Robert Burns A memorial service was held Monday, October 8 in the Presbyterian Church in Neepawa. Rev. Gladys Anderson officiated. If friends desire, a donation can be made in Moms name to a charity of their choice.
