CLARENCE RAYMOND SAWA With sadness, the family announces the passing of Clarence Sawa on Saturday, October 13, after a lengthy illness. Clarence will be lovingly remembered by his wife Marlene; daughter Sharon (Rafe) Vogel; son David (Heather Hammersley) and grand-children, Vanessa and Lauren Vogel. He is also survived by his brother Ralph (Carole) and sisters, Eleanor (Harold) Joyce, Helen (Wilmar) Dixon and Eileen Sawa. He was predeceased by his parents and his sister Doreen Sawa. Clarence was born on August 22, 1931 in Fenwood, SK. In his mid-twenties, he married Marlene and left the family farm for a position with International Harvester Co. After one year in Yorkton, SK, the couple was transferred to Winnipeg, where they made their home. Clarences last working years were spent with Piston Ring. A memorial service will take place on Wednesday, October 17, at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. We thank our family, friends and the health care workers for all their support.
