RAYMONDE MARIE WATKINS (nee ARPIN) Peacefully on Sunday October 14, 2001 at Concordia Hospital, at the age of 71. Lovingly remembered by her husband Charles; son Robert (Iris) grandson Nicholas; sisters, Jeannine (Marcel) Pineau, Laurence (Dr. Fortunat) Champagne of St. Claude, MB; brother Guy Arpin of Thunder Bay, ON; brother-in-law Robert (Jean) Watkins; sister-in-law Grace (John) King; many nieces and nephews. Rae was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Irene Arpin as well as her two brothers, Lucien and Maurice Arpin. Rae was born in St. Boniface. While working at Eatons she met and married her husband Charles. Rae was a honest, straight forward woman with a great sense of humour. She had lots of love and compassion for her family and friends. Raymonde dealt with life and her long battle with diabetes head on with much courage. At Raes request cremation has taken place and a family service will be held. The family would like to give special thanks to the E.R. staff at Concordia Hospital, Winnipeg paramedics and the fire department. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or to charity of choice. Arrangements entrusted to Klassen Funeral Chapel, 338-0331.
