JOSEPH (JOE) WOYCHYSHYN With family by his side Joseph Woychyshyn of Silver, MB passed away on October 12, 2001 at the Arborg and Districts Health Centre. Joe is survived by his wife Diane; his son Randy; his girls, daughter-in-law Nancy and his precious granddaughter April. One brother Mike and sister-in-law Leona, foster sisters Marie and Margie. Joe was predeceased by his parents Rose and Steve and Dianes parents which he lived with, Mike and Ann Tzar. Joe was born and raised in Rembrandt on August 29, 1933. He worked in Winnipeg until he married Diane on May 31, 1958. He moved to Silver and started farming for the rest of his life. He also had a backhoe business where he dug graves with Fred. Prayers will be held on Tuesday October 16 at 7:30 p.m. in Arborg (MacKenzie) Funeral Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, October 17 in St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church, Silver, MB. Rev. Fr. Peter Chorney will officiate with interment in the Silver Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers; Fred Rymar, Pete Abuda, Baldur Bergman, Russell Yozefowich, Peter Melnychuk and Mike Zolinski. Active pallbearers will be his neighbours, Cliff Skibinski, Walter Mychasiw, Carl Osioway, David Wabick, Jake Dern, Bill Chuckry. The family would like to thank Dr. E. Greyvenstein and the staff of the Arborg Hospital for their excellent care and support and to Deacon Harry Chuckry for being there for us.
