ROSARIA RUSSO INTROITO With love and great sorrow, with her family by her side, we announce the passing away of Rosaria Russo Introito, on Saturday, October 13, 2001 at the age of 59, beloved wife of Gerlando Russo Introito. Rosaria was pre-deceased by her son Gaetano in May, 1999. Besides her loving husband of 40 years, she leaves to cherish her memory her children, Julie, Salvatore (Angie), Giuseppina and Antonino; grandchildren, Jared and Matthew; also brothers and sisters in Aragona, Italy, Teresina (Salvatore), Antonino (Teresa), Giuseppe (Elena) and Vincenza (Giovanni) along with her sister-in-law Concetta and brothers-in-law, Leone Passaggio and Vincenzo Galluzzo of Winnipeg. Rosaria will also be sadly missed by many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews in Winnipeg, Rockford, Illinois and Italy. Rosaria was born on November 15, 1941 in Aragona, Sicily, Italy and came to Canada in November, 1961. She worked for 32 years where she made many close friends. Her greatest love was her family and friends. Prayers will be said on Wednesday, October 17, at 7:00 p.m. in the Holy Rosary Church, 510 River Ave. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, October 18, at 10:30 a.m. also in the church with Fr. Michael Raj Savarimuthu presiding at the Eucharist. Entombment will follow at Queen of Heaven Mausoleum, 3990 Portage Ave. The family wishes to extend their thanks to Dr. Daeninck, the staff of St. Boniface Hospital and the staff of MB CancerCare. In lieu of flowers, donations in Rosarias memory may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB, R3E 0V9. We did not know that morning, What sorrow the day would bring, The bitter grief, the shock severe, To part with one we loved so dear. You bid us one last farewell, A chance to say good-bye, You were gone, before we knew it, And God only knows why. We pray that when you left us, That you knew how much we cared, Today, tomorrow, our whole lives through, We will always love and cherish memories of you. We hold you close within our hearts, And there you will remain, You walk with us throughout our lives, Until we meet again. LEATHERDALE GARDINER 1858 Portage Avenue, 949-4872
