WAYNE JOSEPH HANSON On Sunday, October 14, 2001 our beloved son and brother Wayne, aged 19 years, passed away at the Health Sciences Centre. Wayne was an energetic person who as a child played soccer, hockey, and bowling. He was always a rough and tumble kid who was fearless and looked for adventure. He was riding a bike at the age of 3 and was not happy unless he was riding at break-neck speed and jumping ramps. He was a bit of a loner growing up and had some tough times as a teenager. Wayne was very independent and always wanted to grow up faster than he was. He chose to stay away from his family for a while, but always kept in touch with Grandma Dee and Auntie Debbie. The last year he had been re-establishing his relationship with his family. He was employed at Westfair Foods, and his greatest joy in life was having a daughter that he adored. Tisha put all perspective back into Waynes life. He was a very good father and took care of Tisha in all his free time. His sister Ashley was a constant part of his life after Tisha was born and helped with the baby as much as she could. Wayne will be missed very much by his mom Barb, father Derek, sister Ashley, daughter Tisha, and Tishas mother Vanessa, grand-parents, along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will always remember him. Cremation has taken place. A service celebrating his life will be held on Friday, October 19 at 1:00 p.m. at Knysh Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main St. Donations may be made care of a trust fund set up for his daughter Tisha, 200 Main St., Box 2, Station Main, Winnipeg, MB R3C 2G1.
