ROBERT WETTER After a courageous battle with cancer, Robert Wetter passed away at the Riverview Health Centre on Tuesday, October 16, 2001 at the age of 69 years. Bob will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 42 years, Arlene; daughters, Kim (Tony) Perillo and Sandy (Rod) Schiener; son Rob (Nat) and grandchildren, Joel, Kayla, Matteo and Amanda. Special thanks to sister Hella (Eldon) and brother Nic (Thea) for their always present love and support as well as to friend Luke and niece Jolanda (Rick) who travelled many miles to see him. He also leaves to mourn many nieces and nephews. Bob was predeceased by his mom Tilly in 1991 and his dad Nicolaas in 1998. He was born in The Hague, Netherlands, and came to Canada in 1954 where he was a carpet and drapery installer. Bob loved the outdoors and his cabin at Lakeshore Heights as well as his trips to Mazatland, Mexico in the winter for 18 years. We will cherish the memory of his love for playing cards and growing his gardens. In compliance with Bobs wishes, a private ceremony has taken place. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, October 20 at 295 Terrance Place, East St. Paul, between 2:00 and 5:00 p.m. Our family wishes to extend special thanks to Dr. Kirk, Dr. Will Libich, nurses and health care aides on 3 East at Riverview Health Centre for their care and compassion.
