DANIEL ABRAHAM SINCLAIR September 25, 1928 - October 16, 2001 It is with deep sorrow and sadness that we announce the sudden departure of our dear husband, father, and grandfather, Daniel Abraham Sinclair of Lake St. Martin, Manitoba to his home of eternal rest at the age of 73 years. Daniel leaves to mourn his wife of 55 years, Priscilla; his sons, George, Clifford, Elwood (Violet), Vernon, Lawson (Bertha) and Randy (Katie) his daughters, Lillian (Clarence) Morse, Phyllis Stevenson and baby, Frances (Joey) Hart; 38 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; his brother William (Mary) Sinclair; many nieces and nephews, one special niece, Edith Sumner and one special nephew Edwin Sinclair; also sisters-in-law, Vina and Doreen Rundle. Dad was predeceased by his parents, David and Lydia; three sons, Allan, Robert and Daniel-Edward; six sisters, Mary, Bella, Ida, Eva, Lily and Gladys; four brothers, Hebron, Allan, Donald and Louis; also two granddaughters, Sherry Ross in 1998 and Joanne Klocko in 2001, and grandson Trevor Stevenson in 2000. Dad made a living as a cattle rancher and raised his family by hunting, fishing and trapping. Dad was a good provider for his family. He always made sure they had what they needed and he taught his sons to be this way. Dad just retired about a year ago from his work, but he missed working and always talked about going back to work almost every day. We went along with his ideas of going fishing, hunting and trapping, even though we knew his health was failing. He didnt like his illness, always insisting he was well, because he didnt want to be a burden to anyone. He even drove his truck till the day he passed away. Dad gave his heart to the Lord in September of 1998, and was often heard speaking to the Lord when he was alone in his bedroom. We feel it would have been his desire to go home and be with his Lord and Saviour, and his grandchildren. Wake services will be held on Friday, October 19 at 7:30 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 20 at 2:00 p.m. Both services will be held at the Faith Chapel, Lake St. Martin, Manitoba, with Pastor Henry Demeria and George Beardy officiating. Interment to follow at Lake St. Martin Cemetery. Arrangements Entrusted To: ANDERSON FAMILY FUNERAL HOME Ashern, Manitoba 1-204-768-3606
