ALAN GRAY MOFFATT, P. Eng. Peacefully at home, in his 83rd year on Tuesday, October 16, 2001, after a long struggle, bravely fought. He is survived by his loving wife Nancy (nee Rawsthorn) his daughter Wendy (John) sons, Sebastian and Peter (Susan) and grandchildren, Mariah, Carley, Andrew, Megan and Daniel. Before retiring, Alan was Executive Vice-President of Reid Crowther and Partners, Consulting Engineers. After retirement he settled into a waterfront home on the west coast and continued to enjoy an active life filled with raising dahlias, world travel, family and church. Throughout his life he served his community in many capacities including a term as Chairman of the Community and Regional Planning Association of Canada, and as Chair of the Committee for Renewal of the Anglican Church of Canada for the Rupertsland Diocese. A memorial service celebrating Alans life will be held on Monday, October 22 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Francis-in-the-Wood Anglican Church in West Vancouver. \r
