Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELSIE WEIGELT Elsie, born April 26, 1925, ended a brief fight with cancer on October 17, 2001 at the age of 76 years. She went swiftly with her son and daughter at her side while in Surrey Memorial Hospital. Her husband Emil, the love of her life, predeceased her in 1973. Elsie will continue to live in the hearts of her son Ron Weigelt, her daughter Diane and husband Don Genovese, her two very precious grandsons, Sean and Myles, and her last surviving sister Clara McDowell of Winnipeg. Elsie was born in Winnipeg where she lived, met and married her husband and had both her children. She made many homes where her husbands jobs took her and made many friends along the way. Donations in her memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
