Henry leaves to mourn his wife Ellen; his sons, Alfred, Walter, Glen, Leonard, Rodney, Willard and Herbie; his daughter Dianne; his grandchildren, Douglas, Sharon, Bruce, Vincent, Ryan, Cassidy and Bryson; his great-grandchild Lindsay; his sisters, Caroline Jacobsen, Anna Cumberland and Pat Palson; and his brother Russell Collins. Henry was predeceased by his parents Adam and Jane Collins; his infant son and his son Harold William Lea; his sister Margaret; his brother Freddie; his nephew Bruce Cumberland. "Buddus" as everyone knew him was a jack of all trades. He was employed as a fisherman and working with Sigfussons Transportation at one time. His special talent was to fix broken appliances and create functional items out of junk. Buddus had two passions, playing cribbage with his friends and playing the fiddle. He was an accomplished musician who performed at many gatherings and received awards for fiddling. He had a home that was open to everyone at all times. He loved to tease and have a good time. Buddus was a loving husband, father and grampa, who will be always loved and remembered. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 23, at 2:00 p.m. with a viewing beginning at 1:00 p.m., at the Pine Dock Community Hall, Pine Dock, MB.
