Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDOROTHY CONNERY (PAUL) 1907 - 2001 On October 22, 2001 at the Golden Links Lodge, Dorothy Connery, beloved widow of James Connery, passed away peacefully. Dorothy will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Eileen Wilson of Winnipeg; and her son Edward (Beverley) of Portage La Prairie; grandchildren, Heather Wood (Ted) and great-grandson Jeffrey, Cheryl Richter (Chris) and great-grandchildren, Courtney and Adam, Douglas Connery (Paulette) and great-grandchildren, Jarrett and Sheri, Jacqueline Nicol (Ron) and great-grandchildren, Erin and Scott, Jeffrey Connery (Beth) and great-grandchildren, Samantha and Christopher, Tim Connery; sisters-in-law, Margaret Hack, Lillian Plantje, Alice Plantje, Leone Connery; and numerous nieces and nephews. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband Jim; her parents, Charles and Elizabeth Paul; her brothers, Percy (Esther), Harry (Ethel), Cliff (Ellen). Dorothy was born November 29, 1907 at Hurds Farm, Somerton, England. Jim and Dorothy enjoyed many years raising vegetables and bedding plants at Lot 160 St. Marys Rd. Following Jims passing in 1963, Dorothy retired to 175 Pulberry St., where she made and enjoyed many friends. For the last six years, Dorothy resided at Golden Links Lodge. A special thanks to all those who visited mom, especially Vi Werner and Jean and Howard Paul. Also thanks to the caring staff at Golden Links Lodge and Edith Webb. There will be a private interment prior to the memorial service which will be held at St. Vital United Church, 987 St. Marys Rd., on Thursday, October 25 at 2:00 p.m. Reverend Brent Denham will officiate. Viewing will be held on Wednesday evening from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Thomson Funeral Chapels, 669 Broadway. Pallbearers will be Doug Connery, Jeff Connery, Tim Connery, Chris Richter, Ted Schulz, Jeff Wood and Jarrett Connery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to St. Vital United Church or Golden Links Lodge. THOMSON FUNERAL CHAPELS 783-7211
