DALMACIA R. CASTILLO On Saturday, October 20, 2001, our beloved grandmother Dalmacia Castillo passed away peacefully in her sleep at the age of 90 years. She was predeceased by her husband Esteban Castillo and son Melquiadez. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her five children, Amada (Alfredo, deceased) and Carmen Castillo of Winnipeg, Eufemia (Teodoro, deceased), Silvino (Pacita) and Shirley Erlinda (Domingo, deceased) of the Philippines. She will also be missed by her Santos grandchildren, Danny (Lita), Eric (Maria), Nora (Salim, deceased) Malik, Rainier (Perly), Loida, Chris (Beth), Jimmy (Nora), Marie (Brad), Mel (Sandy), Joel (Marilou), Leila (Arthur) and Marigrace. Also to cherish her memory will be her great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren of Winnipeg and the Philippines. Lamay will be held on Thursday and Friday, October 25 and 26 from 6:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. (midnight) at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (south of the Royal Canadian Mint) with prayers being said at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Funeral service will be on Saturday, October 27 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Peters Church, 748 Keewatin, with Msgr. Maurice Comeault officiating. Interment will take place in Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. A gathering of family and friends will follow in the Glen Lawn Reception Centre. Pallbearers will be Boy Timbang, Henry Celones, August Cruz, Ferdie Marasigan, Fer Dizon, and Melvin Arabe.
