Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPEARL STEVENSON It is with great sorrow and sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother, grandmother, great-grand-mother, auntie and friend, Pearl Stevenson of Peguis, MB on October 23, 2001, at the age of 81 years, peacefully, with all her family by her side. Pearl leaves to mourn her daughters, Irene (Henry) Manningway, Anna (John) McCorrister, Marina (Dave) Marcynuik, Daphne (Doug) Stevenson; her sons, Percy (Olive) Stevenson, Gary (Mavis) Stevenson; 24 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law Phyllis Stevenson; brothers, John, Dave, Percy; sister-in-law Bertha; brother-in-law Michael. Pearl was predeceased by her husband John Stevenson on November 17, 1974; son Harvey on January 2, 1997; grandson Trevor in May 2000; two great-grandchildren; parents, John and Mary Bella Sutherland; sisters, Mary, Annie, Evelyn, Sara and Lena; brothers-in-law, Fred Wilson, Sam Flett, William Robert Manningway, and Ernest Hall. Pearl was born on September 15, 1920 on the Peguis Reserve. She was devoted to the Anglican Church Womens Group (ACW), helping in many fundraising events for the church. She enjoyed her bead work until her retirement. Pearl was a loving, caring, kind person, who always loved to help and talk to people who phoned and visited her. The family wishes to thank Constable Ellias Cochrane and the Fisher Ambulance. Also heart-felt thanks to the Peguis Chief and Council, and especially to her best friend Garda Sutherland. Wake service was held on Thursday, October 25 at 8:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Friday, October 26 at 2:00 p.m. Both services at the All Saints Anglican Church, Peguis, MB, with Rev.
