GLENN ALFRED GLADUE November 9, 1929 - October 21, 2001 Peacefully, with family by his side, Glenn Alfred Gladue passed away at the age of 71, at St. Boniface General Hospital. Glenn was pre-deceased by his father John Alfred Gladue in 1982 and his mother Elizabeth Cullen Gladue in 1992. Glenn will be dearly missed by his loving wife Dolores; daughter Gail (Edmond) and two sons, Craig (Belinda) and Mark (Bonnie) 11 grand-children, Christian, Duane (Anjelika), Michel, Rebecca, Terence, Alyssa, Jesse, Mandy, Ryan, Stephen, Carlie and one great-granddaughter Darria. After graduating from Daniel McIntyre Collegiate in 1947, Glenn pursued his career as an accountant then went on to be a Credit Manager. He became National Credit Manager for Yamaha Canada, then International Credit Manager for Temro Automotive. Glenn joined CAMCO in 1977 as Western Regional Credit Manager, from which he retired in 1994. During his employment, Glenn was a member of the Canadian Credit Institute and served as Secretary Treasurer of the St. Boniface Museum Board for 13 years. Following retirement, Glenn continued to enjoy hobbies of fishing and woodworking. He took great pride in documenting family gatherings, vacations and anything of interest and beauty with his prized camcorder. Previous to his lengthy illness, Glenn touched many lives showing empathy and compassion towards his fellow man. His jovial and outgoing nature claimed an infinite number of friends. In accordance with Glenns wishes, cremation has taken place with no service to be held. A gathering of family will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, should friends so desire, donations in his memory may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 5 Kent Rd., Winnipeg, MB. 982-2041.
