ROYCE CLIFFORD BILLAN Peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer on October 24, 2001 Cliff passed away at the Riverview Health Centre. Besides his wife Carol he will be sadly missed by his brother Ed (Dorothy) sister Jean; step-children, Jason (Ami), Bonnie (Wade) granddaughters, Stephanie and Rebecca; numerous nieces and nephews. Cliff was born September 12, 1935 in Moose Jaw, SK. He was predeceased by his brother George in 1943; father Stanley in 1954; and mother Lillian in 1972. Cliff had a successful career in the accounting department for 35 years with CP Rail. He was an active Toastmaster for 10 years. He made wonderful friends wherever he went. He had a genuine interest in the lives of others and was always ready to lend a hand. Up until his illness Cliff loved to golf and cycle in the park with Carol and daily walks. The family wishes to express their sincere thanks for the kind care and compassion of all the staff on Unit 3E. Cremation has taken place. Funeral service will be held at Kildonan United Church, 187 Kilbride Ave. at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 29. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Memorial Fund, Kildonan United Church, 187 Kilbride Ave., Winnipeg, MB, R2V 0Z7. "We love you and will miss you."
