ANITA LOUISE PESCITELLI (nee ROUGEAU) January 12, 1928 - October 26, 2001 In loving memory of Anita Pescitelli who passed away at the age of 73. Anita leaves to cherish her memory her husband Larry; her daughters, Cathy (Ken) Hanz, Sharon (Neil) Kaus, Chris (Rocky) Baronins, Lisa (Ron) Sheppard; her grand-children, Carla (Paul) Bennett, Jeff Hanz, Caitlin and Alex Baronins; sisters, Denise (Henry) Cebula, Laurette (Bob) McKenzie; brothers, Rene, Claude (Sandy), Bert (Judy) sister-in-law Marilyn Rougeau. Anita will be sadly missed by countless family and friends, especially by her dear friend Olga. She was predeceased by her father Edward and mother Vivian; brothers, Edward and Leo. Anita was born on January 12, 1928 in St. Boniface. Her lifetime involvement with the Catholic Church began as a young girl where she excelled in her studies at St. Josephs Academy. Her strong faith nourished and sustained her throughout her life. Anita was a wonderful mother always making her family her top priority. She spent countless hours singing in the kitchen while baking her favourite recipes. Anita was a very active senior belonging to two choirs, the Strollers Club, Mall Walkers, and going dancing with her friends. She also took great satisfaction in writing her life history. The family wishes to extend special thanks to the wonderful caregivers on Cornish 6 at the Misericordia Health Centre. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, October 31 at Blessed Sacrament Church, 425 Rosseau Ave. E., Transcona. The private family interment will take place at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens at a later date.
