AUDREY EARL (nee MILLER) On October 24, 2001, Audrey Earl, aged 77 years, passed away with family by her side, at Kildonan Personal Care Home. She was predeceased by her husband Lloyd. Audrey leaves to mourn her son Lloyd, daughter Susan (Bryan), her brother Victor, nieces, nephews and other relatives in Canada and England. She was born in the family home on 124 Barber St., Winnipeg on September 24, 1924. She loved to play the piano, tap dance and played Championship Basketball. She met and married her husband Lloyd on November 16, 1946. They raised their family in East Kildonan. In 1974 Mom and Dad moved to Point Claire, PQ and in 1984 they moved to Bramalea, ON, returning to Winnipeg in 1986. Throughout her life Audrey enjoyed crafts and won many ribbons at the Red River Ex. Audrey was a long-standing member of St. Johns Cathedral ACW, the Manitoba Prairie Quilters and the IODE. The family wishes to thank Dr. E. Pilat and the staff of the Kildonan Personal Care Centre. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, (today) October 30 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Johns Cathedral, 135 Anderson Ave., with the Very Rev. Bob Osborne officiating. Service will terminate at the Cathedral. Flowers gratefully declined, if friends so desire, donations may be made in Audreys memory to St. Johns Cathedral Memorial Fund.
