KATHERINE (KAY) LOEWEN (nee HEINRICHS) On Friday, October 26, 2001 at the St. Boniface Hospital, Katherine Loewen passed away at the age of 70 years. She was predeceased by her parents, Anna and Jacob Heinrichs. Kay will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Joanne Dahlke (Lothar), Gail Burton (Don) son Cameron Loewen; and grandchildren, Nathan (Kahly) and Carmen. She is also survived by brothers, Jake Heinrichs (Shirley), Raymond Heinrichs (Edie Marshal), Pete Heinrichs (Verna) and sisters, Anne Janzen (Frank) and Dora Bircham (Darryl Coates). She will also be missed by numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Kay was a kind and generous person who will be fondly remembered by those who knew her for her sense of humour, her cooking and her free spirit. Her family was her pride and joy and she relished spending time with them. She enjoyed the get-togethers with her friends at Chelsea Place. Kay had the ability to make friends wherever she went. "You will be greatly missed." A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 30, at 4:00 p.m., at Neil Bardal Inc., 984 Portage Ave., entrance on Aubrey Street, with Pastor Henry Neufeld officiating.
