VICTORIA MARIA LALINGO (MARY) (nee COSTANTINI) It is with great sadness that we the family and friends announce the passing of our sister Mary Lalingo on Wednesday, September 19, 2001. Mary was born in Winnipeg, MB on January 26, 1912, moved to Toronto, ON in 1927 and made that city her home. She was predeceased by brother Dominic (1988) and sister Lucia Iafolla (1994) both of Winnipeg. She will be lovingly remembered by son Donald and wife Ferdinanda of Los Angeles, CA. She is survived by sister Edith Hyslop of Winnipeg; brothers, Sydney Constantine and wife Kay of Minneapolis, MN and Dr. Anthoni Costantini and wife Rose of Calgary, AB; sister-in-law Margaret Costantini of Winnipeg. Also many nieces, nephews and relatives. A prayer service and viewing was held on Sunday, September 23. A funeral Mass of Christian Burial was held on Monday, September 24 with interment following. The family would like to thank all those friends who so often visited with Mary. You were her family there. Our sincere and heartfelt thanks to Sister Dorothy Agius for your compassion and friendship over the years. She always looked forward to the visits to the Abbey and the summer stays at camp. To Nancy and Melanie for all your special care and support the past few years, thank you for being there. "Sleep well, you deserve the rest"
