HILDA KASPER (nee GESKE) On October 26, 2001 Hilda Kasper (nee Geske) aged 79 passed away peacefully at Seven Oaks Hospital. Hilda was predeceased by her husband Herman (Harry) Kasper, father Ferdinand Geske, mother Maria Geske, sisters, Olga and Lydia; and son-in-law Helmut Wiedermann. Born in Gretna, MB, Hilda came to Winnipeg in 1945. She worked at Canadian Linen for 20 years. Funeral services will be held at Lutheran Church of the Cross, where Hilda and Harry were caretakers for many years, on Tuesday, October 30 at 1:00 p.m. Rev. Reiners will be officiating. Interment at Garry Memorial Park on 1291 McGillvray Blvd. Hilda leaves to cherish her memory daughters, Mrs. Gloria Wiedermann, Mrs. Pierre Molin (Shirley) and Mrs. Edouard Guilmette (Betty) five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and sisters, Evelyn Gaetz and Joan Collins; and many nieces and nephews. Hildas last years were spent at the Luther Home and her daughters would like to thank the staff for nursing their mother. Thank you to the staff at Seven Oaks Hospital for their kindness and compassion.
