JOHN (IWAN) FEDOROWICH June 26, 1924 - October 27, 2001 John Fedorowich, aged 77, passed away suddenly after a long battle with cancer. He was predeceased by his parents, Nykola and Sidoria; brother Victor and son Michael. John will be lovingly remembered by his beloved wife Olga of 41 years; daughter Margie; sons, Mark (Wanda) and Murray (Tara) daughter-in-law Donna; grandchildren, Alisha, Timothy, Riley and Jayda; sister Anne (Bill) Pohaychuk and families. John was born in Arbakka, MB. He served as a Private in the Canadian Army Shilo Camp in 1945. Later he worked in the Sudbury Mines and farmed the family farm in Arbakka. It was there where he met and married Olga on May 21, 1960. In 1966 they moved to Winnipeg and he worked at Versatile until his retirement in 1989. John enjoyed hunting, fishing, mushroom and blueberry picking, renovating, bingo and especially the time spent with his family. Prayers will be held on Thursday, November 1, at 9:30 a.m. followed by the funeral service at 10:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery.
