MARY ZIEBA Mary was a mother, grandmother and a beautiful person. She passed away peacefully in the hospital on October 17, 2001 at the age of 86 years. Mary came to Canada from Poland at the age of 15 years and worked as a nurses aid at St. Boniface and Health Sciences Hospitals, worked as a home care person for many years and was a loving, caring person to all the people she cared for. She loved gardening and cooking for her family, working late into the night to cook some complex meals. It was a great pleasure to her family when they sat down to a smiling Marys delicious meals. Mary was predeceased by her husband Stanley, who passed away in 1991 and a daughter Helen who passed away in May 2001. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter Stella (Narynski), her son-in-law Walter; and Helens husband Lloyd Spencer; two grandsons, Andrew (Leslie) from Toronto and Robert (Tammy) as well as two great- granddaughters, Natasha and Alexandra. We all will miss you Baba, may you find eternal peace and happiness with Stanley and Helen in the hereafter. A private family service will be held on October 31.
