JACK F. HALHEAD On October 26, 2001, in Toronto at the Humber River Hospital Church Street Site, at the age of 76. He was a commerce graduate and received his Bachelor of Commerce in 1947, from the University of Manitoba. He studied under the Canadian Credit Institute and passed all exams. He graduated with Honours, and received the Presidents Gold Medal for the highest marks in Canada on September 10, 1963. He also became an Honorary Life Member of the Canadian Credit Institute on January 21, 1986. He was a Past National Officer of the Association of Kinsmen Clubs and a Life Member of the Kinsmen Club of St. Boniface Norwood - St. Vital in Manitoba. Jack was employed by Canada Packers Inc. for 38 years. He retired as National Credit Manager in 1985. Jack is survived by his beloved wife Roberta (Bobbie), a brother Ted (Rita), and a sister Maisie; also many nephews and nieces in Canada, England and the U.S.A. He was predeceased by his parents, Walter and Ida; and a younger brother James. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Manitoba Lung Association, 629 McDermot Ave., 2nd floor, Winnipeg, MB R3A 1P6. The funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, October 31 at 10:00 a.m. at Christ the King Church, 847 St. Marys Rd. Interment will follow at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. A reception will be held in the Parish Hall. "I love you dear." Love, Bobbie.
