Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELIZABETH RUCK It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Elizabeth Ruck on Friday, October 26, 2001 at the Beacon Hill Lodge in Winnipeg, at the age of 83 years. Elizabeth was born at Little Saskatchewan First Nations on September 24, 1918 and had resided in Winnipeg most of her life. She enjoyed the outdoors, daily walks and visits with her friends. Elizabeth was a devoted mother and grandmother and will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Elizabeth was predeceased by her husband Henry Ruck in 1973. She leaves to cherish her beautiful memory sons, Dave (Sandra) Ruck, Henry (Flora) Ruck; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. Prayers will be said on Wednesday, October 31 at 7:00 p.m. at the Aboriginal Funeral Chapel, 724 Selkirk Ave., Winnipeg, with wake to follow. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 1 at 1:00 p.m., also at the Aboriginal Funeral Chapel, with Pastor Ray Settee officiating. Interment to follow at Brookside Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be all her cherished friends. Active pallbearers will be Dave Ruck, Henry Ruck, James Ruck, John Ruck, David Ruck, and Katherine Ruck.
