Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJAMES SEAWRIGHT 1924-2001 Peacefully, on October 30, 2001, James Seawright passed away at the age of 77. Jim was predeceased by his parents, one brother and one sister, all in Ireland. In Canada, he was predeceased by two wives, Elizabeth (nee Teichrob) in 1974 and Ruby (formerly Mead, nee Nasland) in March of this year. He is survived by one sister Charlotte Hawthorne of Ireland, and many nieces and nephews in Ireland. He also leaves to mourn his passing, his extended family from his marriage to Ruby: stepdaughters, Ardith (Chris) Tomasson and Heather (Steve) Kane; six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. We will all miss "Papa Jim." Jim was born in Dromore, Northern Ireland July 1, 1924. He immigrated to Canada in 1957 and was employed with Addressograph-Multigraph for many years as a service representative for Manitoba and Northwest Ontario. After his retirement there, he found employment for several years at the Balmoral School for Girls in the maintenance department. As much as he loved his homeland, he loved his life in Canada. Jim was a member of the St. James Legion No. 4, where he and Ruby spent many evenings dancing away the hours. In the fall, Jim and his friend George Landin would go hunting for sharptail grouse. This would always bring new tales to tell. He enjoyed bowling and fishing and his many trips back to Ireland to reunite with family. Services will be held at Neil Bardal Inc., Portage Avenue and Aubrey, on Friday, November 2 at 2:00 p.m., with Rev. Bill Corkum officiating. Interment to follow at Glen Eden Cemetery, 4477 Main St. Pallbearers will be the grandchildren, Keith, Richard and Michael Tomasson, Charlene Morin, Graham and Jeffrey Kane. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 2B7. May the road rise up to meet you May the wind be always at your back And until we meet again May God hold you in the palm of his hand NEIL BARDAL INC. 949-2200
