MARJORIE ALMA DESROCHERS (STONE) On October 28, 2001, after a lengthy illness, Marjorie Alma Desrochers passed away peacefully at the age of 65 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 46 years, Roland; two sons, Gary (Christine), David (Sandi) and daughter Laurie (David) Livingston; five grandchildren, Chantal, Braden, Sean, Kieran and Cameron. She also leaves to mourn her sister, Jessie; several other relatives and numerous friends. Marjorie was born and lived most of her life in Winnipeg where she made many close friends. She held several jobs in her lifetime, but the position she enjoyed most was that of teachers aide. She was employed for seventeen years at Riverview School. Her caring and gentle demeanour made her very popular with the students. The funeral service will take place on Friday, November 2 at 1:00 p.m. at Calvary Temple; 400 Hargrave St. A reception will follow at Calvary Temple after the service. In lieu of floral or other tributes, memorial donations may be made to the Candian Diabetes Association.
