ROBERT CARL COHLMEYER (1921 - 2001) Bob Cohlmeyer passed away on October 31, 2001 following a prolonged illness. Bob grew up in Kansas City, where he was an outstanding student, athlete and artist. He completed his training in Architecture in 1948 at the University of Illinois. He practised architecture in Illinois and Kansas, and spent 16 years as a senior project architect for many large civic buildings at Skidmore Owings & Merril in Chicago. >From 1972 to 1988 Bob was Professor of Architecture at the University of New Mexico, where he also served for several years as Associate Dean of Architecture. Bob is survived by Lois, his loving wife of 57 years, and his four sons, Dave, Steve, Jo and Chris and their wives and children. Everyone who knew Bob loved him - his gentle ways, his soft almost invisible way of teaching those around him, his insistence on excellence, his dedication to his family and his love of the wilderness. He was generous, intelligent and gentle, and we are all better because of him. REQUIEM REQUIEM REQUIEM CHAPEL LAWN FUNERAL HOME CEMETERY & CREMATORIUM 885-9715
