ALICE SALLY KELLER (nee PARSON) Sally passed away on Wednesday, October 31, 2001 at the Victoria General Hospital. She will be forever loved and missed by all. She is survived by her sister Nina Wakshinski (Clare), three brothers, Michael (Joyce) Walter (Sandy) and Arthur Parson; nephews and nieces, Jim, Greg, Tom, Grant, Dean, Wendy, Sandy, Kim and Jessica. She was predeceased by her husband and best friend Floyd in 2000 and by her father in 1988 and her mother in 1925. Sally was born in Winnipeg December 25, 1920 and at an early age moved with her father Jakim to Admiral, SK. She was educated in Admiral graduating in 1937. Shortly after that she returned to Winnipeg and in 1939 married her husband Floyd. She was a kind, gentle and generous person and always willing to lend a helping hand. Her kind and caring nature will live in our hearts forever. Whether you needed a helping hand or a shoulder to lean on she was always there. Her life was dedicated to her family and friends. All who knew her loved her. She will be dearly missed and remembered. Her presence made the world a better place. Since the passing on of her husband Floyd, she immensely enjoyed going out to Sandilands to visit Mike and Joyce. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 3 at 11:15 a.m. in Thomson Funeral Chapels, 669 Broadway. Interment will follow in Garry Memorial Park. She was a great lover of animals and gave them all tender, loving care. She was a devoted supporter of the Humane Society - if friends so wish donations in her memory may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 5 Kent Road, Winnipeg, R2L 1X3.
