Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryNORMAN HALL NORRIE December 14, 1913 - October 31, 2001 After a brief illness, Norman Norrie passed away on October 31, 2001. Predeceased by his wife Elinor, Normans kind and gentle soul will be greatly missed by his daughter Louise, son Andrew (Anita) and five grandchildren, Jessica, Stephan, Austin, Alicia and Aaron. Norman was born and raised in Winnipeg. He attended Daniel MacIntyre High School and Sparling United Church. In the Second World War he served as a radar technician in the Royal Canadian Air Force. Post war years, he was an active member of various Canadian Legions. Norman was dedicated to his career in the meat packing industry which spanned many years in Winnipeg and Brandon, MB as well as Calgary, AB. An avid sportsman, Norman excelled in basketball, volleyball and baseball during his early years. Throughout his life, Norman was a curling and golf enthusiast. Normans fine sense of humour and zest for living will be remembered by all who knew and loved him. Prayer service will be held November 2 at Vancouver Memorial Services, 5505 Fraser St. Vancouver, BC.
