JEAN FRANCES WINSLOW (nee MacNEILL) On Wednesday, October 31, 2001 at St. Boniface Hospital, Jean Winslow passed away quietly, with dignity and courage. Her family was at her side and shared in her passing. Jean Winslow was born and raised in Regina, SK. She married Daniel Henzie, a member of the RCMP Police in June, 1945, embarking on a life of challenge and adventure. She was widowed in 1961 at Winnipeg, MB. Jean worked many years for the U of M, Department of Ophthalmology, at the Health Sciences Centre. She loved her work and remained there until retirement in 1984. She married again in December, 1977 to Ron Winslow. Together they loved to entertain and traveled at every opportunity. She was widowed again in 1981 at Winnipeg, MB. Throughout her life Jean was very accommodating, always giving and never expecting anything in return. She is loved and will be missed deeply by all who knew her. Jean Winslow was predeceased by her parents, Wallace and Ruby MacNeill; sister Mary Bittner and brother Boyd MacNeill. She leaves to cherish her memory, daughter Margaret Cederwall, son Jack Henzie, five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Cremation has taken place. A service celebrating her life will be held on Monday, November 5 at 2:00 p.m. at the Knysh Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main St., with Rev. Gordon Fulford officiating.
