IRIS MAE McMURCHY Iris was born on the family farm near Reston on April 23, 1913 and passed away on October 27, 2001 at Wilson Memorial Hospital in Melita after a short illness. Iris was the first born child of James and Nellie Bulloch. She was predeceased by her husband Franklin Clair; her parents, James and Nellie; her brother Earl; her sister Merle (Bud) and her brothers-in-law, Reg Berry and Bill Matthews. She is survived by her children, Rae (Bob) Campbell, Jim (Eleanor) and Keith (Lois) six grandchildren, Bob Campbell, Andrea (Don) Parsons, Jeffrey (Jennifer) McMurchy, Janice McMurchy, Scott (Karen) McMurchy and Reid (Paulette) McMurchy; four great-grand- daughters Taylor and Cailey Parsons, Abbey McMurchy and Piper McMurchy. She also leaves behind her sister Gwen, many nieces, nephews and cousins. After finishing high school, Iris helped on her parents farm until her marriage. She was a devoted wife and mother. After Franklins death, Iris lived with her father and worked in the dietary department of the Reston Hospital until her retirement. Iris was very involved with her church, serving as secretary-treasurer, Sunday School teacher, choir member as well as a member of the guild. She was involved in many community activities and organizations including being a life member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Her greatest pleasures were her family and friends and the many telephone calls, letters, etc. can attest to this. Iris had a remarkable memory, remembering everyones birthday, anniversary, etc. She was a friend to all that had the pleasure of knowing her and will be missed and lovingly remembered by those who knew her.
