PAUL EMILE CHARTIER 1907 - 2001 An ordinary man born in an ordinary village - St. Lazare, MB. He performed ordinary jobs at the CNR and the CBC throughout his ordinary life. He had an ordinary marriage to Marie Saurette for over 50 years before she passed away. He sired five daughters who died at birth and an ordinary son. He was an ordinary resident of Tache Centre, a precious institution in St. Boniface for many years until he left on All Souls Day, November 2, 2001. This ordinary person stands out because of the extraordinary legacy of love, charity, compassion and kindness he leaves to everyone who has known him. An ordinary father accomplished everything in life extraordinarily well. To everything there was a purpose. Heaven is an extraordinary place. It has welcomed an extraordinary saint. Yours are no ordinary footsteps to follow Dad. Well done papa, Rene In lieu of flowers, please have a mass said in memory of Paul or make a donation to your favourite charity. Mass of Resurrection will be held on Tuesday, November 6 at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Boniface Cathedral, 190 Cathedrale, St. Boniface with viewing one half hour prior to the service.
