LINDA RAY BROWN (nee NASH) It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Linda, beloved mother, grandmother and sister on November 2, 2001. Linda leaves to mourn her children Kirsten Slusarenko (Patrick), Jennifer Bryson, Dana Brown (Benjamin), Deidre Olinyk (Robert), Chris Brown (Donnalee), and Connie Beckman; grandchildren Alexander and Rayne, Jesse and Ryan, and Lauren and Carly. Her sister Donna and husband William Allcock of Elora, ON, and niece Sheryl with son Thomas and nephew Donald, as well as extended family and friends. Linda was predeceased by her parents, Donald and Phyllis Nash, and her beloved friend Apsley. Linda was born in Toronto and graduated with honours form Queens. She earned her C.A. designation and an Aviators License in Winnipeg while raising her family. Linda was an avid reader, music enthusiast and enjoyed crocheting and knitting. She was a loyal employee and was especially devoted to her recent position with The Winnipeg Foundation. Lindas greatest joy was her family who will forever feel the loss of her presence. A service of remembrance to celebrate Lindas life will take place on Wednesday November 7, at 10:00 a.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St. A reception and a time of fellowship will take place following the service. Our family would like to thank the staff at St. Boniface, MedICU, 5A and 5B. In lieu of flowers donations in Lindas memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
