Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryVIOLET HELEN HUDSON (nee HAMMOND) Peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, November 3, 2001 Violet Helen Hudson passed away at the Health Sciences Centre at the age of 84 years. Violet is survived by her daughters, Beverley (Don) Barringer of Winnipeg and their daughter Kim of Vancouver, Lorrie (Jack) Cuthbert and their son Chris of Los Gatos, California; sons, David and his children, Jennifer and Michael of Vancouver and Richard (Rosalind) and their children Ashley, Matthew, Laura and Mark of Winnipeg; sisters, Janet Styles of Vancouver, Rosalie Nicholls and Helen OConnor of Winnipeg; brother Art Hammond (Jean) of Victoria, B.C.; and cousin Marg (Gil) Garner of Winnipeg. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Ronald in 1985 and her parents, Nicholas and Pearl Hammond. Vi was a loving mother and full time homemaker who loved to cook and bake. She was an active member of St. Margarets Anglican Church, a good friend and neighbour. A memorial service will be held in Thomson Funeral Chapels 669 Broadway on Wednesday, November 7 at 2:00 p.m. Special thanks to Miss Erlinda Cubacub for her many years of love and care of Nanny Hudson. The family would also like to extend a sincere thanks to all the caregivers on 4H at the Health Sciences Centre.
