KYLE LORNE NOVAK With great sadness the family announces the passing of Kyle Lorne Novak of Grosse Isle, MB, beloved youngest son of Wendy and Lorne Novak, accidentally on Saturday, November 3, 2001. Kyle is also survived by brother Bryan, wife Angie, nephew Hunter of Argyle; brother Jon and sister Laura, both at home; grandfather Ed Novak of Winnipeg; uncles, Larry Good, wife Carole, cousins, Jessie and Dominic of Argyle; Rick Good, wife Roxanne of Gimli; Blair Good, wife Leanne, cousins, Hollie, Sara, and Ethan of Argyle; aunt Marilyn, husband Bert DeLeeuw, cousins, Chris and Rob of Winnipeg; numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Kyle was predeceased by grandparents, Lionel and Eleanor Good; grandmother Evelyn Novak; uncle Gerald Good; and great-grandparents, John and Evelyn Good. Born October 11, 1980, blond-haired and blue-eyed, Kyle won over everyones hearts with his laughing eyes and winning smile. Always full of questions, he needed to know "why" and "how" in all that he did. Grandpa Good was his hero and he spent many weekends and holidays at "the farm" helping to milk cows or do whatever chores needed to be done. Kyle played hockey and was part of the Warren South Stars team that won gold at the 1994 Manitoba Games in Thompson. He also played hardball and soccer but his first love in sport was hunting. Kyle counted the days down each fall until deer hunting season started. Hunting with Bryan, Jon and Rob was THE annual event he most looked forward to. Kyle worked for Rutherford Farms for the last four years. Totally loving his job, he helped to work the land and run the seed operation as if it was his own. Kyle took tremendous pride in doing the job right - perfect was how he thought everything should be done. Kyle earned his Class 1 license and drove across Western Canada hauling seed and grain once the harvest and fall work was done. As a member of the Northern Lites Snowmobile Club, many winter weekends were spent riding the trail with club members and friends. Kyle was also actively involved in maintaining the trail. His Ski-Doo was his favourite toy aside from his truck. Kyles first love was definitely his FORD truck. He bought his first truck when he was 16 replacing it just last year with his pride and joy - a black 4x4. Being very family-focused, Kyle always needed to know where everyone was and what they were doing. Kyle became an uncle for the first time this past spring. Kyle adored his nephew and talked of when Hunter could hunt with the guys in a few years. Often Kyle dropped in to see friends and family just because he happened to be driving by. Kyle had a wide and varied circle of friends of all ages. He was very caring and although he was a young man of few words, his actions spoke volumes of the type of person he really was. Donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Society would be appreciated. Kyle helped to support this society as one of his good friends lives with MS. Kyles memory, his beautiful smile and sparkling eyes are now keepsakes we treasure in our hearts. We will love you forever sweetheart. Till we meet again. Friends may call on Thursday, November 8 from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Stonewall. A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 9 at 2:00 p.m. at the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Stonewall. Rev. David Fielder will officiate. Interment of cremains will follow in the Stonewall Cemetery. Everyone in attendance is considered an honorary pallbearer. MacKenzie Funeral Home, Stonewall, in care of arrangements.
